Ecology

YALADA TOURS is more than an experience — it is a commitment to protect, restore, and respect.

YALADA Planting

Yalada tours are not just low impact but positive impact, this is not eco-tourism but regenerative tourism and our tours offer the opportunity to work with Eastern Kuku Yalanji people in regrowing the Daintree Rainforest to protect the reef and combat climate change while creating jobs in the community.

By journeying with us, you are part of something larger. You are supporting reforestation efforts, sustainable land management, and the revitalization of culture. You are helping ensure that the stories of the Elders continue to be told, that the forests continue to stand, that the reef continues to breathe.

CNP Jabalbina HIGH RES
At the core of this journey is the work of the Jabalbina Rangers and Foresters, the Indigenous custodians of this land who are restoring the Daintree Rainforest and conserving the Great Barrier Reef.
With their guidance, you’ll take part in a tree-planting initiative, contributing directly to the reforestation of areas once cleared during colonisation. These forests, home to rare and endangered species, are slowly reclaiming their space, and every tree planted is a step toward the land’s healing. As you press your hands into the rich soil, you become part of this cycle of renewal, helping to regenerate an ecosystem that has sustained life for millennia.
